A Mt. Fuji marathon suited for runners of all levels
This marathon is staged at the northern base of Mt. Fuji in the late summer, on the fourth Sunday of August every year, in celebration of "Yoshida no Himatsuri" (The Yoshida Fire Festival), the biggest annual event in Fujiyoshida City. About 5,000 participants compete each year. Race distances range from 10km, 5km, and 2.5km to offer something for runners at every level
