A scenic waterfall flowing with negative ions
The falls are 150 meters high and named "Shiraito" meaning "white thread" because the cascading water looks like shimmering threads of silk.
It is located in the Kamikurechi area of Fujiyoshida and flows from Mt. Mitsutoge. Surrounding the waterfall are the Sanju-san Kannon (33 goddesses of mercy), unique rock formations tied to legends of Saint Nichiren, and lush vegatation.
