The closest station to the Chureito pagoda
This is the closest station to the Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama Sengen Koen Park.
The station was renovated in 2009 with a vivid painting on the ceiling of the atrium and installation of benches fashioned after the Mount Fuji silhouette. The space is relaxed and is also very picturesque during the cherry blossom season. A retired famous sleeper train is on display here for train fanatics. The station also has a charming little coffee shop - a perfect place to rest while waiting for your train.
